The authors of Civilization One return, bringing new evidence about the Moon that will shake up our world. Christopher Knight and Alan Butler realized that the ancient system of geometry they presented in their earlier, breakthrough study works as perfectly for the Moon as it does the Earth. They found a consistent sequence of integer numbers that they can apply to every major aspect of the Moon; no such pattern emerges for any other planet or moon in the solar system. In addition, Knight and Butler discovered that the Moon possesses few or no heavy metals and has no core—something that should not be possible. Their persuasive conclusion: if higher life only developed on Earth because the Moon is exactly what it is and where it is, it becomes unreasonable to cling to the idea that the Moon is a natural object—an idea with profound implications.

That's not a moon...
By Dave C.
After reading this book I am utterly 100% convinced that our Moon is an artificial construct. The evidence is right there, has been right in front of our faces all along, and has been waiting for us to make the seemingly obvious connections pointing to the irrefutable proof that the Moon was engineered by intelligent design and not simply by random chance or accident. There are far too many "coincidences" that cannot be dismissed by current academic and scientific theories for the creation of our moon such as:
- The size of the moon from the Earth is the same relative size as the sun for a total solar eclipse to occur.
- The moon's diameter is exactly 400 times smaller than the sun. The moon is also 1/400th the distance between the Earth and the sun.
- The sidereal period of the moon is 27.321 days. The circumference of the moon is 27.322% the circumference of the Earth.
- The Sun is exactly 109.288 times the size of the Earth (4 x 27.322). The circumference of the Moon is 10928.8 kms (400 x 27.322)
- The Earth is 3.66 times larger than the moon. The Earth takes 366 days to complete one solar orbit.
- The rotation of the moon turns at precisely the velocity that it does relative to the Earth so that one side is always facing us.
- The moon is likely hollow or without a core and that when the Apollo landers crashed into it that it unexpectedly rang like a bell for several hours.
- The lunar surface contains the same isotopic signatures as the composition of rocks from the Earth but contains no heavy metals such as iron.
- The mass of the moon would neatly fit into the recesses between the Earth's continents suggesting that it was "carved" out of the Earth itself and that the generally accepted "Big Whack" theory that the moon was the byproduct of a violent collision with another planetoid the size of Mars is wrong and cannot be reconciled by a game of planetary billiards.
The odds of all of these observable facts and computations about our moon being the result of some naturally occurring phenomena are astronomically improbable as to be impossible. With regards to the Anthropic Principal it can be inferred by Albert Einstein who eloquently said that "God does not play dice with the universe" leading to the inescapable conclusion that the moon was strategically "placed" into orbit around our planet at the exact distance and inclination to the ecliptic plane that it is at in order to stabilize the tides and the seasons so that life as we know it could exist and evolve. Creationists will argue that it is further proof that it could only have been the product of divine creation as if placed precisely where it is by the hand of God, but to that I contend, "Built by God or built by an advanced extraterrestrial intelligence?"
Or was it time travelers from the distant future that terraformed our own existence 4.6 billion years ago, as the authors postulate?
You decide.

Interesting
By Neva Steffens
It reads reasonably well, but it has information that is now out of date. I am well versed in this subject matter, and I want to obtain further new information. For the newcomer to this information, it is excellent. For an old hand like me, not so much.

must read book even though it falters at the end...
By Mark H. Gaffney
I had previously read two other books by Chris Knight -- so was expecting to be impressed. I was not disappointed. The authors present a totally convincing case that the moon cannot possibly be natural -- and must have been engineered, though exactly how this was done remains a mystery.
I was surprised that the authors do not discuss the backside of he moon which never faces earth and, thus, appears to be the logical place to look for answers about who, what and how.
I also agree with other reviewers who express frustration with the authors, who after succeeding so magnificently in presenting the case for lunar artificiality, then stumble in the final chapters, in which they discount Mr E.T. and try to make a case for time travel that is just silly. I was also puzzled that the authors make no mention of '"intelligent design" and "directed panspermia", which was the theory favored by Sr Francis Crick, co-discoverer of DNA, and by Fred Hoyle, the imminent mathematician and astronomer who was right about so many things.
Once it is understood that life came (or was brought) to earth from elsewhere, it is not necessary to expect that we will unravel the deeper mystery of how life originally was formed. It is enough to know it happened somewhere, somehow, once upon a time.
The authors would have done well to pay closer heed to Hoyle's views about G-d versus Mr. E.T. Point being that the extra-terrestrial civilization that undoubtedly was responsible for installing the moon was/is so far advanced beyond we humans as to appear as gods. This said, our human race, though at a technological and scientific crawling stage, nonetheless regularly produces highly evolved saints such as Krishna and Jesus, beings with a direct connection to G-d. And Mr. E.T. is surely aware of this fact, even if the authors are not. Our human potential for the divine may even be what most fascinates E.T. about us, and why he keeps returning to our planet.
