Manly P. Hall was the founder of the Philosophical Research Society. Theoretical and experimental studies of these materials are ongoing with the goal of attaining the fundamental understanding and exploiting them in future practical applications.

Good expantion

I originally had the DC Encyclopedia without the expanded updates and I have to say I like the updated information the larger book provides, what I think they did, however, war remove some of the character (doing a side by side comparison) to make room for the newer characters and/or thier discriptions. Overall it is a great book, I do think the next expantion should be just a separate, smaller book with the new material in it like the Watchmen world and the new "Before Watchmen" series they've started as well as the revamp for the NEW 52, (which I a very much enjoying for those who wonder), thanks for reading folk, have a nice day!

Most recommended book to clients

I have recommended this book to most of my female clients over the past 15 years. It has been extremely helpful as a daily reminder around learning to and staying out of the business of others, allowing others to make choices and handle the consequences. Yes, it is written with the 12 Step Program in mind, but that doesn't get in the way of the truth of each page. A reader doesn't need to be involved in 12 Step to get the wonderful benefits.

Great book. Highly recommend. I had this in paperback, and had already read it once, and later bought another copy on Kindle so I can take it with me everywhere. I read some every day. It is set up with the short meditations meant to be read on a particular day, so the book is laid out with each meditation having a date, starting with January 1st. Excellent, inspiring, meaningful and helpful. Helps in all aspects of life and relating to others.

Beautiful Haggadah

The art work provides a broader context to the passover stories. Very kin on details.

Just one thought though: one image emphasize our nation's sufferings during the Pharaoh times in a quite graphic manner - a young Egyptian whipping a bleeding elderly? Not an imagine I would like my children to dwell on. I have my doubts that men his age were required to do hard labor in the first place, they would be more likely to be "sent off"...

This is just one page though, I love the rest.

Use friendly and enjoyable to read

I've only read through the last 3 chapters, but what I've read I've really enjoyed. I've been out of the clinical world for 10 years homeschooling my kids during numerous army moves with my hubby. This was just the book to refresh myself. It's easy to read and the numerous charts and figures nicely break up the potential monotony of a typical text book. They make it easy to do a quick search for important issues. It's user friendly to the eyes.

Great format, pictures, diagrams, and easy to read! I wish this was required in my undergrad, now I purchased for my upcoming RD internship because of the good reviews. Content is 5 stars but I do wish it was hardcover since it is textbook size and I have already damaged the cover with moderate use. I might try to laminate the covers to add some reinforcement.
